Job description

This is our first dedicated analytical hire. The sales teams generate a large volume of campaign and performance data every week, and this role will establish how it is measured, reported and used, from conversion tracking to territory and channel analysis. You will work from our Oxford office and report directly to the Managing Director. More about us at lumenpartners.uk.

What you will be doing

  • Collecting and analysing campaign data from internal systems, spreadsheets and client reports, and turning it into regular performance reporting on results, conversion rates and productivity.
  • Building dashboards the Managing Director and campaign teams use to monitor performance week to week.
  • Measuring results against agreed targets and breaking performance down by campaign, location, channel and team to explain what is driving the numbers.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations directly to the Managing Director in a practical, commercial format.
  • Improving how data is recorded and shared across the business, and resolving missing, duplicated or inaccurate information at source.
  • Defining reporting requirements and performance measures when new client services launch, and supporting forecasting and capacity planning as the company grows.

Requirements

  • Experience in a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Business Analyst or similar analytical role.
  • Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups and data manipulation.
  • Experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI, Tableau or a comparable platform.
  • A sound approach to data accuracy and validation, with strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to interpret trends and explain them in commercial terms to senior decision-makers.
  • SQL, CRM or sales-performance data experience is useful but not essential.

Benefits & conditions

  • Salary of £32,000 to £34,000 depending on experience.
  • 28 days’ holiday including bank holidays, plus workplace pension.
  • Direct exposure to senior leadership and a genuine say in how reporting and performance measurement develop as the business scales.
  • A permanent role in a growing company, based in modern offices in Oxford with excellent transport links.

About the company

Lumen Partners is recruiting a Data Analyst to join our head office team in Oxford. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and offers something most analyst roles do not: the chance to design a company’s reporting framework from the ground up rather than inherit one.

About Lumen Partners

Lumen Partners launched in 2026 and delivers face-to-face sales and marketing campaigns for national brands across the telecoms, energy and food & beverage sectors. The team currently stands at thirteen, including the Managing Director, an assistant manager, ten sales executives and an HR manager, and is growing in line with new client contracts.
