What you’ll do For the role of Core Network Architect (IMS & Signalling) we are looking for candidates with a broad range of skills. The responsibilities include: Experiment and Design solutions to support new services that rely on IMS Data Channels, Web RTC and Core API exposure. Coordinate large selection processes / RFQs for modernization of Voice Core across the entire Vodafone Group. Drive Vendor strategy and manage evolution of deployed products via roadmap management

in the area of Signalling and IMS Core, benchmark them and select new Vendors and products as per Vodafone needs Include in the design and selection process the requirements for cloud native characteristics of the overall E2E solution (platforms and NW), maximising flexibility, automation, resiliency and customer experience while optimising overall efficiency/costs. Support Product development and commercial teams and ensure Core architecture and capabilities are prepared to support future products and propositions. What you bring At least 8 years experience in Core Network, preferably in the Voice area. Solid technical experience on: Core network (components and architecture) and IMS-based voice and messaging services Specific knowledge in the area of IMS Core, Signalling, Customer Database, Core APIs, . General competence/background: in telecommunications (technologies and services) and IT technologies (e.g. microservices architecture, databases etc) Competence in cloud technologies and cloud native solutions such as containers. Communication skills: English language (spoken and written), good communication & presentation and negotiation skills Telecommunication or an engineering bachelor’s degree.
