Job description

The Loadsensing monitoring solution includes best-in-class edge devices, LoRa-based wireless connectivity and a cloud-based connectivity management platform. We also join forces with key industry players to offer software applications and solutions which engineering service providers use to add value to end customers. We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic Intern in Android Mobile Applications development to join our Engineering team in Barcelona. The Mission: Join our team as an intern in mobile applications development, contribute to projects involving development and testing of our mobile applications. Your primary function will be to provide support to engineers in development and testing. Learn and develop skills in Android in an innovative environment. The student will participate in the development, validation, and testing of our mobile apps, used to work with our devices, designed for the capture and processing of data from geotechnical sensors. They will also be involved in developing apps to allow the testing of our devices. Outcomes: Collaborate in the design and development of mobile applications. Assist in the maintenance of our applications. Participate actively in testing and debugging. Work in a team to enhance system stability. Work directly with other engineers, product owners and other team members to implement complex end-to-end systems. Rigorous commitment to quality engineering, testing, documentation and support.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Computer Engineering). Knowledge of Android development. Java knowledge is a must. Kotlin knowledge is a plus. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is advantageous. Basic understanding of embedded systems and micro-controllers. Strong desire to learn and grow in a technological environment. Strong problem-solving skills.
