Requirements

  • Associate’s degree, vocational technical degree, or specialized training that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of two (2) years of college education related to position
  • Two (2) years of related experience
  • Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education.
  • Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word processing, electronic mail, and operating systems
  • Answers user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
  • Sets up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
  • Installs, tests, configures, troubleshoots and performs minor repairs to hardware, software, network, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications
  • Maintains records of inventory and service/repair activity
  • Performs related work as assigned

SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

  • Valid Driver’s License
