Job description

Make an Impact Where It Matters Most Blue Rose Consulting Group, Inc. (Blue Rose) is seeking an Access Management Engineer to support a federal program implementing secure, scalable identity solutions in alignment with Zero Trust principles.

In this role, you will help design, deploy, and optimize access management capabilities that protect sensitive federal systems. You will work directly with government stakeholders to integrate Okta across cloud and on-premises environments, strengthen authentication processes, and ensure resilient, compliant identity services.

What You’ll Do As an Access Management Engineer, you will:

  • Design and implement integrations between Okta and existing federal applications, systems, and infrastructure (cloud and on-premises).
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Okta to support SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and directory services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex identity and access management issues across diverse environments.
  • Identify and mitigate risks within federal systems by applying Zero Trust controls and secure configuration practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Okta, providing technical guidance and best practices to government customers and stakeholders.
  • Support the full software development lifecycle for access management and Zero Trust implementations.

Schedule & Shift Details

  • Full-time (40 hours/week)
  • Remote supporting East Coast hours, * Work closely with government and technical stakeholders in a mission-driven environment
  • Contribute to secure, scalable authentication and authorization capabilities

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Public Trust clearance required or higher
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Okta-based identity and access management solutions
  • Experience integrating Okta with federal systems, cloud services, and on-premises infrastructure
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex IAM issues in secure environments
  • Demonstrated experience applying Zero Trust principles, security controls, and risk mitigation
