Job description

Tier 4 Mobile & Engineering Support: Provide advanced diagnostic and technical support for complex, escalated mobile application, device, and platform issues. Mobile App Log Analysis & Triage: Conduct deep-dive analysis of mobile client logs (iOS/Android) and IoT device logs to identify operational gaps, troubleshoot mobile network connectivity (5G/LTE/Wi-Fi), and isolate client-side vs. server-side bugs. Automation & Scripting: Develop robust automation scripts using UNIX shell scripting and SQL (Oracle & MS SQL Server) to resolve production software issues affecting mobile users. Data Visualization & Performance Monitoring: Write Elastic Search and Splunk queries to monitor mobile app event logs, track application crash rates, create operational dashboards, and establish proactive alerting systems. Network & Device Diagnostics: Utilize specialized engineering tools (including MARS, MTAS, RTT, Handset Analyzer, Iris, TrueCall, and ACSS) to monitor network logs, evaluate mobile device connectivity, and proactively fix performance anomalies. Telemetry & Connected Systems: Analyze customer-reported performance issues involving vehicular telematics devices and their integration/interaction with the companion mobile application. Reporting & Insights: Design and automate daily, weekly, and monthly SQL reports for business stakeholders to track mobile app operational metrics and reduce reporting redundancy. Tool Development: Develop software utilities, mobile test tools, and minor product features under the guidance of senior developers.
