Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Security System Installation Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex security system installations. In this role, you will oversee all phases of projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, and client satisfaction. Your expertise in security technology, electrical systems, and project management will drive successful outcomes across diverse installation sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage multiple projects while utilizing your technical knowledge and leadership skills to enhance security solutions for our clients., * Lead the planning and execution of security system installation projects from inception to completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budget management.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project specifications are met accurately and efficiently.
  • Oversee field service technicians during installation activities, providing technical guidance on system design, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards, electrical codes (such as NEC), and industry regulations throughout project execution.
  • Conduct site assessments to determine appropriate placement of sensors, CCTV cameras, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), fire alarms, and other security components.
  • Manage procurement of hardware such as low voltage cabling, power tools, hand tools, sensors, lock hardware, and telecommunication equipment needed for each project.
  • Perform quality control inspections to verify proper system operation, remote access software functionality, and integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including schematics, installation logs, incident reports, and client communications.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in service technician roles within security system installation or related fields such as construction or telecommunications.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience related to low voltage wiring and cabling.
  • Familiarity with computer networking concepts essential for configuring remote access software and surveillance systems.
  • Knowledge of security system components including CCTV cameras, sensors (motion detectors), alarms (fire alarm systems), IDS devices, and surveillance hardware.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately; experience with system design is highly desirable.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools safely during installation processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients and team members; leadership qualities are a plus.
