Job description

The Data Architect / Data Steward SME serves as the technical authority for enterprise data architecture, governance, and data management supporting the Concorde platform. This role provides strategic leadership in designing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise data environments while ensuring data integrity, quality, security, and accessibility across mission-critical applications. The SME collaborates with developers, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to support new capabilities while maintaining existing production systems.

  • Serve as the technical lead for enterprise data architecture and data management initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise data models, data dictionaries, metadata, and governance documentation.
  • Lead data migration, validation, cleansing, mapping, and integration efforts across multiple systems.
  • Recommend improvements to data architecture, cloud adoption, and enterprise data management practices.
  • Provide technical leadership to software developers, database administrators, and infrastructure teams.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to support future business requirements.
  • Coordinate software upgrades, database improvements, and enterprise integration efforts.
  • Develop and implement data governance standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Support Operations & Maintenance activities for existing data systems while ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements supporting reporting, analytics, and application development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • 10+ years of experience in data architecture, data analysis, database design, data integration, data warehousing, and data migration.
  • 5+ years of experience performing data validation, cleansing, mapping, and maintaining enterprise data dictionaries.
  • 5+ years supporting enterprise architecture, database management, and systems integration.
  • 5+ years providing technical leadership across development and infrastructure teams.
  • Experience implementing enterprise data governance and cloud data management best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and relational database technologies.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Benefits & conditions

The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $170,846 - $210,798. This range is a good-faith estimate and not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation will be based on factors including experience, education, skills, geographic location, internal equity, market data, and applicable contract requirements, and may fall outside the posted range.
