Job description

As a Computer Technician, you will be at the forefront of ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of hardware and software systems. This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to troubleshoot technical issues, support end-users, and maintain vital IT infrastructure across diverse environments. Your expertise will directly contribute to seamless operations and enhance user experiences in a fast-paced, innovative setting., * Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users via help desk tickets, phone calls, or on-site visits, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.

  • Perform hardware maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices to ensure peak performance.
  • Assist with system administration tasks including Active Directory management, user account setup, permissions management, and password resets.
  • Support operating systems such as Windows, macOS, by troubleshooting issues and implementing updates or patches.
  • Conduct hardware support activities including installing new equipment, replacing faulty components, and maintaining inventory records.
  • Utilize IT service management tools

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical support roles with a background in desktop support and hardware maintenance.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills covering hardware issues, software conflicts, network problems, and operating system errors.
