Job description

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Senior Systems Engineer with extensive experience in electro-mechanical systems to support the design, development, testing, and validation of complex products. This onsite role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working in a laboratory environment, developing test methods, analyzing data, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams., * Design, develop, and evaluate complex electro-mechanical systems.

  • Generate design concepts and participate in engineering design reviews.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive test methods and validation plans (TMV).
  • Design and build test beds for system verification and validation.
  • Perform hands-on testing to evaluate system performance and reliability.
  • Analyze digital sensor outputs and interpret test data.
  • Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, and reporting.
  • Apply Design of Experiments (DoE) methodologies to optimize testing and performance.
  • Troubleshoot system failures and perform root cause analysis.
  • Support manufacturing by identifying process improvements and engineering solutions.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports and engineering documentation.
  • Track, document, and manage product defects throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and development teams.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in systems engineering, test method development, sensor data analysis, and Python-based data analysis. Experience in the medical device industry or other regulated environments is highly preferred., * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • Electrical Engineering
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Software Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of Systems Engineering experience.
  • Experience working with electro-mechanical devices and complex system integration.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Test Method Validation (TMV)
  • Test Method Development
  • Design of Experiments (DoE)
  • Python programming for engineering data analysis
  • Sensor data analysis
  • Reliability testing
  • Root cause analysis
  • Test bed development
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical writing and documentation experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within the medical device industry.
  • Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment.
  • Experience in an FAA-regulated industry is also a plus.
  • Familiarity with product verification, validation, and quality processes
