Job description

We seek a Data Platform Infrastructure Engineer skilled in AWS/Google Cloud Platform/AliCloud and Kubernetes to build and maintain the infrastructure powering our data platform. You’ll ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of large-scale systems, developing tools and dashboards for monitoring and management. Experience with infrastructure-as-code and deploying complex services to Kubernetes is essential. You’ll collaborate with engineering teams within our organization and stakeholders to build, test, and maintain robust data platforms.

Requirements

8+ YOE, with 5+ years of experience working with large-scale infrastructure systems and cloud environments
Hands-on experience in AWS/Google Cloud Platform/AliCloud and knowledge of its ecosystem
Experience in scaling and operating Kubernetes
Excellent communication skills are a must; experience working with customers directly to explain how they would use the infrastructure to build solutions that meet their business goals.
Proven ability to work in an agile environment, flexible to adapt to changes
Programming experience in Golang, Python, and bash scripting
Fast learner with experience in IaC fundamentals and monitoring solutions
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or AliCloud (Must require 1, in addition to AWS)
Experience managing Kubernetes clusters (RBAC / Security, etc)
Experience developing, deploying, and managing services on Kubernetes clusters via Helm charts, Kustomize, etc
Advanced Experience with Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform, Pulumi, Crossplane)
Experience with automation for infrastructure management
Experience with Kubernetes advanced features (Operators, OPA Policies, Webhooks, etc)
Experience with Kubernetes networking ecosystem (Cillium, ALB, NLB, Envoy, Nginx ingress, Certificate managers, etc)
Programming experience in Golang, experience building RESTful web services
Advanced experience with using AI for coding
