Job description

Support the development and maintenance of systems engineering artifacts including:

  • Requirements
  • SysML models
  • Test Plans
  • Test Procedures
  • Formal Test Reports

Requirements

The Maritime Systems Division of Leidos is seeking a systems engineer with experience Model Based Systems Engineering, requirements development, test plan and procedure creation, and algorithm development. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of systems engineering processes and experience with hardware/software integration. Customer communication skills are highly desirable.

The candidate should work well in a collaborative environment, understand Agile development methodologies, and seek to identify and champion both technical and process innovations., * US Citizenship required

  • Requires BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Proven experience in all phases of Systems Engineering including requirements, algorithms, integration, test, and modeling
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for an effective interface with all internal and external contacts.
  • Possess business and technical vision
  • Experience with SysML

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the Navy’s Cooperative Engagement Capability
  • Experience using the Atlassian toolset
  • Experience with Cameo/Magic Draw
  • Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum
  • Experience developing and giving presentations to a government customer
  • Experience with MATLAB is beneficial.

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
