The Maritime Systems Division of Leidos is seeking a systems engineer with experience Model Based Systems Engineering, requirements development, test plan and procedure creation, and algorithm development. A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of systems engineering processes and experience with hardware/software integration. Customer communication skills are highly desirable.\n \n The candidate should work well in a collaborative environment, understand Agile development methodologies, and seek to identify and champion both technical and process innovations.\n, * Requires BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.\n
- Active Secret clearance \n
- Proven experience in all phases of Systems Engineering including requirements, algorithms, integration, test, and modeling\n
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required for an effective interface with all internal and external contacts. \n
- Possess business and technical vision\n

Experience with SysML\n, n \n
- Experience with the Navy’s Cooperative Engagement Capability\n
- Experience using the Atlassian toolset\n
- Experience with Cameo/Magic Draw\n
- Experience in Agile development methods, including Scrum\n
- Experience developing and giving presentations to a government customer\n
- Experience with MATLAB is beneficial.\n
