Sr Staff Software Application Engineer

• Experience with display interface standards such as DSI/eDP/DP/HDMI.

• Professional knowledge of the Android/Linux kernel - Professional in display performance debugging on multi panels.

• Good knowledge of Linux/Android/LXC OS, multi-threads, etc.

• Good knowledge of specific Display architecture like SDM, Rendering etc.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting ability with sufficient tools (e.g., GDB, JTAG-Debugger, ADB etc.).

• Experience with Surfaceflinger/HWC and understanding of the Android Display architecture and display native services and framework, multi-display support, Multi DRM cards. Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience with Qualcomm MSM software platforms is a big plus. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• 7+ years of experience collaborating with global teams and engaging directly with customers

• 5+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 5+ years of experience with debugging techniques., * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience., Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience. OR PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

• 3+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 3+ years of experience with debugging techniques.

• Build and maintain strong business relationships with key partners and customers, understanding their needs, challenges, and feedback and defining business and product solutions working with stakeholders.
