Requirements
As an Agentic Software Engineer II, you build and ship full-stack features for the travel platform using AI coding agents as everyday tools. You work with moderate autonomy, taking well-scoped features from implementation through production with Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot, and you review and validate AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance before it merges. You help refactor and modernize existing services with cloud-native patterns, safeguard membersā sensitive data alongside the Risk and Security teams, and consult senior engineers on architectural calls while raising the risks that need a team-level discussion. This role is based onsite in Phoenix, AZ, on a fast-paced, highly collaborative team that spans US and international time zones. Expect 3 to 5 years of full-stack experience and at least a year using coding agents professionally, across TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or C#/.NET, a front-end framework like React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular, and a cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
You fit if you already build with agents daily and bring judgment to it: you write clear prompts, read the output critically, and catch the subtle bug or security gap before it ships. You care about the product and the member on the other end, you collaborate across product, design, and engineering, and you stay curious about where agentic tooling is heading. Familiarity with MCP, RESTful APIs and microservices, real-time streaming platforms like Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD rounds out the picture, and exposure to RAG, LangChain, or graph-based data technologies is a plus.
