Job description

Design, develop, code, and test applications using IBM Assembler.
Work across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Debug and troubleshoot mainframe applications to ensure optimal performance.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for assembler programs.
Provide technical support for mainframe systems and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Optimize application performance and maintain system reliability.
Collaborate with system architects, analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into efficient low-level machine code.
Stay updated with the latest mainframe technologies and assembler programming practices.

COBOL (Preferred)
CICS (Preferred)
DB2 (Preferred), * 10+ years of hands-on experience in Mainframe Assembler programming.
Strong expertise with IBM z/OS operating system.
Experience with the complete SDLC.
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
Strong knowledge of mainframe architecture and system programming.
Experience with JCL; knowledge of COBOL, CICS, and DB2 is a plus.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
