Job description

  • Deploy, configure, and support enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Protection (EP) solutions across the organization.
  • Implement and fine-tune DLP policies to protect sensitive data while minimizing business disruption.
  • Configure and manage security controls using platforms such as Microsoft Purview, Palo Alto XSIAM, Proofpoint, or comparable technologies.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and business teams to identify, classify, and protect sensitive information.
  • Perform data discovery, classification, and labeling/tagging initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Monitor DLP activity, investigate policy violations, and recommend improvements based on findings.
  • Manage reporting, dashboards, and KPIs to measure DLP effectiveness and identify trends.
  • Develop and maintain escalation procedures for policy exceptions and security incidents.
  • Support encryption, device management, access control, and logging initiatives that strengthen the organization’s overall data protection strategy.
  • Document configurations, procedures, and best practices to support ongoing operations and compliance efforts.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience implementing and configuring Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and/or Endpoint Protection solutions within an enterprise environment.
  • Experience with one or more leading security platforms, including Microsoft Purview, Palo Alto XSIAM, Proofpoint, or similar technologies.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data protection principles, including:
  • Data monitoring and logging
  • Device management
  • Access controls
  • Encryption policies
  • Security reporting and compliance
  • Experience leading or participating in data discovery, data classification, and data labeling/tagging initiatives from start to finish.
  • Ability to analyze security events, recommend policy improvements, and balance security requirements with business needs.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing DLP and Endpoint Protection programs beyond initial deployment, including ongoing policy tuning, dashboard management, KPI reporting, and exception handling.
  • Project management experience, including coordinating cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Experience working within enterprise cybersecurity or information security teams in regulated or complex environments.

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour
