Job description

The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for leading technical teams and implementing projects utilizing IBM Infosphere DataStage Suite, SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Unix Shell Scripting. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining complex ETL processes and databases while ensuring high performance and reliability of data workflows., 1. Lead technical teams in the implementation of projects using ibm infosphere datastage suite, sql, oracle pl/sql, and unix shell scripting.

  1. Design, develop, and optimize etl processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
  2. Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  3. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  4. Perform code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and ensure best practices are followed.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data processing and integration.
  6. Monitor system performance and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  7. Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to recommend innovative solutions for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  1. Proficiency in ibm infosphere datastage suite for etl development.
  2. Strong expertise in sql for data manipulation and querying.
  3. In-depth knowledge of oracle pl/sql for database development and management.
  4. Proficient in unix shell scripting for automation and scheduling tasks.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead technical discussions.
  6. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  7. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of etl processes.
  8. Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and methodologies.
  9. Knowledge of using azure devops for build and deploy
  10. Familiarity with creating physical data model based on the data model logic

Benefits & conditions

Minimum Salary (US): 95000
