Job description

We’re hiring a Lead MuleSoft Developer to rebuild our integration platform around cloud-native, event-driven, API-first architecture. This isn’t a “next project” role. It’s a seat at the table where the strategy gets decided.

If you’ve been the best MuleSoft developer in the room for a while now and you’re ready to set the standards instead of following them, this is that role.

NOTE: No sponsorships for this role. Must have a Green Card or be a U.S. citizen.

What You’ll Own

  • Design and build enterprise integrations on MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform
  • Create reusable APIs connecting core systems, cloud apps, third-party services, and internal platforms
  • Define the enterprise API strategy and integration standards - not just execute someone else’s
  • Architect integration solutions that are scalable, secure, and built to last
  • Lead technical design discussions and set architectural direction across integration initiatives
  • Mentor developers through design reviews and hands-on technical leadership
  • Drive platform performance, reliability, and operational excellence
  • Partner directly with enterprise architects, application teams, and business stakeholders on enterprise-wide solutions

Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience building enterprise integrations with MuleSoft
  • Strong API design chops - RESTful services, API-led connectivity
  • A track record designing secure, scalable integration architecture (not just implementing it)
  • Solid Java development skills
  • Experience integrating SaaS platforms, enterprise applications, and legacy systems
  • Working knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture
  • The ability to hold your own with architects and senior stakeholders in a room
