Software Engineer/Integrator

Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform software development tasks supporting Navy programs. The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of coding in Java/C++ on a Linux Operating System., Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• Development, integration, troubleshooting experience with the Linux/Unix Operating System.
• Experience in software development, integration, troubleshooting using Java or Python
• Experience developing scripts using Bash or Python.

Desired skills

• Experience with K8s or K3s, Podman, or other containerization or orchestration technologies
• Basic understanding of Agile Full software life-cycle development.
• Desire to integrate, test and troubleshoot and refactor software systems.
• Linux administration access
• Experience with networking switches, routers, etc.
• Experience debugging the HW/SW interface. TPMs, BIOS, etc.

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
