Software Engineer Staff

EADGE-T is seeking a software engineer to join one of the agile development teams. In this role, you will:

• Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
• Design, Implement, and integrate/test software features
• Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
• Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs, Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Significant experience with Python and Java Experience with RHEL/Windows Experience working in agile environments (Kanban/Scrum) Extensive experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Hands-on experience with version control and collaboration tools (e.g. Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence) Comprehensive understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles Experience with automated testing and continuous integration (unit tests, CI/CD pipelines) Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline and 5+ years of experience or equivalent experience/combined education Ability to travel OCONUS Ability to obtain a Secret DoD Security Clearance

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. EADGE-T has a geographically dispersed project team that executes in an agile - scrum setting.
