Job description

Whiteboard Federal is seeking a Software Test Engineer to work in a fast-paced environment, including working with multiple project teams, platforms, architectures, and diverse technologies. Candidates will design, develop, test, and implement software systems using object-oriented design. Develop unit and integration test procedures. Update and create new automation/manual test scripts based on change requests and defects and execute test scripts to ensure application is fully compliant with specifications., * Developing test validation scripts using program-designated languages (e.g., Java and Python)., Whiteboard Federal is committed to providing access to all individuals who are seeking information from our website. Requirements

Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and test methodologies.
Experience with automated test tools, including Selenium, Katalon Studio, Cypress.
Experience with the effective execution of automation processes.
Ability to analyze requirements and formulate design.
Ability to test both front end and back applications.
Experience with scripting languages.
Experience with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
Experience with the documentation and communication of issues found during any test cycle.

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Demonstrate professional experience in a technical field.
Experience with automated and manual testing.
Ability to communicate with partners and non-technical users.

Desired Skills:

Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) applications using Spring MVC or a similar framework.
Experience with different types of testing, including functional, user acceptance, usability, automated, performance, and SOAP.
Knowledge of management tools, including Jira or Confluence.
