ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR

The Enterprise Applications Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s enterprise business applications, with primary responsibility for the Epicor Kinetic ERP platform. This role serves as the technical and functional system administrator, ensuring applications remain secure, reliable, well-configured, and aligned with business operations., Working closely with the Business Applications Manager, business stakeholders, IT Service Delivery, and implementation partners, this position supports application configuration, security, reporting, testing, upgrades, integrations, and ongoing system optimization. The Enterprise Applications Administrator plays a critical role in maintaining operational stability while enabling continuous improvement across the organization. Responsibilities Application Administration

• Administer and maintain Epicor Kinetic and other enterprise business applications.
• Configure application settings, workflows, security, and system options to support business operations.
• Manage user accounts, security roles, permissions, and access requests.
• Monitor application performance, system health, and operational reliability.

ERP Configuration & Support

• Configure and maintain BAQs, dashboards, reports, forms, BPMs, and application customizations.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues and coordinate resolution with vendors and implementation partners when necessary.
• Support month-end, year-end, and other critical business processing activities.
• System Enhancements & Change Management
• Evaluate, test, and implement application enhancements, patches, upgrades, and new functionality.
• Participate in application projects, deployments, and future system implementations.
• Develop testing plans, validate system changes, and coordinate user acceptance testing.

Data & Reporting

• Support enterprise reporting through BAQs, dashboards, and reporting tools.
• Assist with data validation, imports, exports, and data quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with reporting and analytics teams to ensure accurate and reliable business data.

Documentation & Governance

• Develop and maintain system documentation, configuration records, and administrative procedures.
• Establish and maintain application standards, governance practices, and change documentation.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with the Applications Support Specialist to resolve escalated application issues.
• Work closely with business departments to understand operational needs and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure Operations, vendors, and implementation partners to support enterprise applications.
• Assist with user training and knowledge transfer for new functionality and system enhancements.

• Three or more years of experience administering ERP or enterprise business applications.
• Experience configuring, supporting, and maintaining enterprise application platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing application security, user access, and system configuration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business users.
• Experience administering Epicor Kinetic or a comparable ERP platform.
• Experience with BAQs, BPMs, dashboards, reporting, and ERP customization.
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, reporting tools, and data management.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations, upgrades, and change management.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• Familiarity with software testing, system integrations, and IT governance practices.
