| Embedded Software Test/Verification Engineer Level 3 Location: Manhattan Beach, CA 90266 | Onsite | 6+ Months Contract Work Schedule: 9x80 A | Active DoD Secret Clearance Required About the Role Join Indotronix as an Embedded Software Test/Verification Engineer Level 3, where you’ll play a pivotal role in testing and verifying embedded software for cutting-edge flight, space, and ground systems. You’ll collaborate with top-tier engineers in a dynamic, process-oriented environment at the forefront of aerospace and defense technology. Responsibilities - Design, develop, document, test, and debug embedded applications and systems - Conduct comprehensive software verification using TLYF methodology to validate functional and performance requirements - Collaborate with hardware engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure system-level integration and compliance - Analyze system capabilities, resolve software issues, and recommend solutions for program intent and output requirements |
Requirements
Develop and execute test plans for automated test sets/test systems - Prepare detailed operating instructions and develop utility programs for embedded systems - Work with real-time operating systems (VxWorks, Linux) and leverage various processors, memory, and I/O architectures - Ensure all software meets rigorous standards and documentation requirements Required Skills and Experience - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering from an ABET-accredited university - 5+ years hands-on experience in C/C++ software development for embedded systems - Proven track record with formal verification processes for embedded flight software - Experience in process-driven environments (waterfall, spiral, agile) - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Comfortable working in large, cross-functional engineering teams in a laboratory setting - Active DoD Secret Clearance Preferred Skills - Full-time professional experience in embedded software engineering - Background in automated test systems for space programs Benefits - Work on innovative projects with real-world impact in aerospace and defense - Collaborate with industry leaders in a supportive, high-caliber team environment - Opportunities for professional growth and skill advancement - Competitive compensation and potential for contract extension How to Apply Ready to take your career to new heights?
