Job description
The Release Manager will lead and mature enterprise release management processes supporting a Salesforce and nCino environment. This individual will manage bi-weekly production releases using Copado while driving automation and continuous improvement across the deployment lifecycle. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Salesforce release management, Copado, and Azure DevOps, along with a strong understanding of CI/CD best practices and secure deployment processes., * Manage end-to-end Salesforce and nCino release activities for bi-weekly production deployments.
- Coordinate and execute deployments using Copado while ensuring release quality and stability.
- Partner with internal development and platform teams to plan, validate, and deliver production releases.
- Support and enhance deployment automation using Azure DevOps and Copado.
- Oversee metadata migration and source code promotion across Salesforce environments.
- Monitor and maintain security scanning processes to prevent high-priority code vulnerabilities from reaching production.
- Identify opportunities to improve release efficiency, automation, and governance.
- Document release processes and promote best practices across the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience managing Salesforce application releases in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Copado for Salesforce deployment and release management.
- Experience supporting Salesforce and nCino platforms.
- Experience using Azure DevOps to support deployment automation and release workflows.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD principles and automated deployment practices.
- Experience with metadata management and source-driven Salesforce deployments.
- Understanding of secure software delivery and vulnerability management within deployment pipelines.
- Strong organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to support scheduled evening production releases on a bi-weekly basis.
