Job description

We are seeking an experienced AWS Textract Developer and an AWS Textract Technical Lead to design, develop, and implement intelligent document processing (IDP) solutions using AWS cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS Textract, Python, and serverless AWS services to automate document extraction, OCR processing, and data validation workflows.

The Technical Lead will be responsible for solution architecture, technical leadership, code reviews, mentoring team members, and collaborating with business stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud-native document processing solutions., * Design, develop, and maintain Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solutions using AWS Textract.

  • Build scalable document ingestion and OCR pipelines for processing invoices, forms, contracts, IDs, bank statements, and other business documents.
  • Develop Python-based backend services and REST APIs for document processing.
  • Integrate AWS Textract with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, SNS, SQS, and DynamoDB.
  • Extract text, tables, forms, key-value pairs, and structured data from scanned documents and images.
  • Optimize OCR accuracy and improve document extraction performance.
  • Implement asynchronous document processing workflows using AWS serverless technologies.
  • Perform data validation, transformation, and integration with downstream applications.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize cloud-based document processing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, QA, and DevOps teams.
  • Follow cloud security best practices and AWS Well-Architected Framework guidelines.

Technical Lead Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale document processing solutions.
  • Define solution architecture and establish development best practices.
  • Mentor and guide development teams on AWS and Python technologies.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather technical requirements.
  • Provide technical estimates, planning, and risk assessments.
  • Support production deployments and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Drive continuous improvements in architecture, scalability, and performance.
