Job description

The Network Leads objective: Responsible for overseeing network design, implementation, management, and incident management to support seamless operations across systems and locations.

What will you do:

  • Design and plan the network infrastructure to meet the needs of the organization, including Wi-Fi, internal communication systems, and connectivity for the various departments.
  • Oversee and manage the installation and configuration of network hardware, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, ensure optimal performance and coverage.
  • Lead resolution of network connectivity and performance issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Engage with the security team to implement and maintain a robust network security measures.
  • Optimize network performance by analysing traffic patterns and making necessary adjustments to improve speed, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Plan and lead implementation of network upgrades to accommodate growth, such as adding new locations, increasing bandwidth, and integrating new technologies.
  • Manage relationships with outsourcing partners & vendors in the Networks domain. Evaluate and select third party vendors and oversee the procurement of network equipment and services.

Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in network engineering, network support, or related roles, with a proven track record of managing network infrastructure in a complex multi-location environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in technology, computer science, engineering or related field.

  • Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP/CCIE, CompTIA Network+, or - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
  • Experience with network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software (network management tools, security solutions).
  • Knowledge of network security practices, threat management, and vulnerability assessment.
  • Experience analysing network performance metrics and taking decisions to enhance network reliability.
  • Experience managing outsourcing partners / third party vendors, network-related projects, including planning, execution, and post-implementation review.

Industry experience in Hospitality (highly preferred)

  • A salary between € 4.200 and €6.100 gross per month on a full-time basis*;
