Job description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and platforms. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of technologies, including front-end and back-end development, APIs, cloud services, and version control systems. The ideal applicant will possess a strong foundation in software development, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment., * Develop, test, and deploy responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frameworks and languages such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, C#, and Java.

Maintain and enhance existing websites and platforms by implementing new features and optimising performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend application functionalities.
Manage version control using SVN, GitHub, Git, and utilise branching strategies for efficient development workflows.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure to deploy and scale applications securely.
Write clean, efficient code adhering to best practices in software development standards.
Conduct code reviews and participate in testing procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Document technical specifications, processes, and system configurations thoroughly.
Stay updated with emerging technologies to recommend improvements for existing systems.

Requirements

Proven experience in front-end development with proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).
Solid understanding of server-side programming languages including C#, Java, Python, Ruby on Rails, C++, or C.
Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or SQL Server; familiarity with RESTful API design is essential.
Hands-on experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, or similar tools.
Knowledge of cloud computing services including AWS or Azure for application deployment and management.
Familiarity with Linux environments for application hosting and development workflows.
Experience with application development involving.NET frameworks or VBA scripting is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a collaborative setting.
