We are seeking a talented and driven Software Engineer to join our team for an exciting, incremental growth initiative centered around a brand-new project footprint

In this role, you will take hands-on technical ownership to drive a key organizational milestone: the successful Delivery of our Embedded Accountancy project You will work alongside a collaborative squad of engineers to design, build, and optimize scalable systems that integrate financial workflows seamlessly into our global retail platform, * Project Delivery: Actively develop, test, and implement core engineering features to ensure the successful launch of the Embedded Accountancy project

• System Health: Maintain excellent coding standards, optimize backend logic, and ensure data integrity across our financial integration systems
• Technical Collaboration: Contribute to internal architecture discussions and cross-functional planning to support our expanding engineering pipeline

• Commercial experience working as a Software Engineer, with strong foundations in object-oriented programming, modern backend languages, and database design.
• Exposure to building or integrating APIs, data pipelines, accounting ledger logic, or cloud-native platform services.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to translate complex requirements into clean, manageable, and performant code.
• Proximity or willingness to work out of our Norwich Head Office (Unit 7)
