Job description
The Senior IT Systems Analyst will play a critical role in the operation, maintenance, and optimization of the organizationās networking infrastructure with a strong emphasis on leveraging Cisco technologies to ensure high availability, robust connectivity, and secure access. While the role may contribute to broader IT systems, network operations and reliability remain the core focus, along with supporting Help Desk operations, + Design, implement, and maintain advanced network solutions (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, firewall) across on-premises and cloud environments using Cisco and Azure technologies

- Design and manage Azure networking services including Virtual Networks (VNets), routing, private connectivity, load balancing, and network security services.

Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for escalated network issues.

Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot firewalls in alignment with cybersecurity protocols; oversee load balancing and proactive performance monitoring.

Administer Active Directory, Azure/Entra, and M365 tools including Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Maintain technical documentation covering network architecture, configurations, disaster recovery plans, and security baselines.
Requirements
Bachelorās degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required. Experience may be considered in lieu of the degree.

7+ years in IT/systems analysis, including 5+ years in network engineering.

5+ years managing LAN, WAN, WLAN, and firewall environments.

3-5 years of hands-on- experience with Cisco and Azure networking: installation, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
KNOWLEDGE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENT

Strong expertise of TCP/IP networking and routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), DNS,DHCP, firewalls, switching, VPNās, LAN, WAN, and WLAN.

Design, implement, and maintain hybrid network architectures across on-prem and cloud environments using Direct Connect, VPNs, and secure routing strategies

Design and manage Azure networking services including Virtual Networks (VNets), routing, private connectivity, load balancing, network segmentation and network security services

Proficiency in network diagramming (Visio) and diagnostic/monitoring tools; familiarity with SolarWinds and Azure monitoring preferred.

Working knowledge of Active Directory and Windows infrastructure as it relates to network design.

Experience implementing automated infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code frameworks (Terraform, Git and scripting i.e. Python & PowerShell)

Lead and manage multiple infrastructure projects end-to-end with detailed documentation and best practices.

Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and critical thinking skills with a collaborative, service-oriented approach.

Cisco CCNA certification preferred.
