Job description
Are you passionate about optimizing human resource systems and leveraging technology to enhance organizational success? We are seeking a skilled HRIS System Analyst to oversee and elevate our Dallas area client’s HR information systems. As a vital member of the team, you will ensure the security and validity of HR data, partnering with various departments to continuously improve systems and processes. What You’ll Do:
- System administrator for the UKG Pro Suite
- Manage modules such as Core HR, WFM/Timekeeping, Recruiting, etc…
- Configure, maintain, and optimize system workflows, security roles, and business rules to support HR operations.
- Support system upgrades, updates, and enhancements, including testing and validation.
- Manage integrations through SFTP and APIs, troubleshooting data exchanges and working closely with vendors and IT.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using UKG Cognos, supporting HR, Payroll, and Benefits analytics.
- Utilize advanced Excel and basic SQL skills for data validation, analysis, and reporting.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and improve system self-service features.
- Document processes, create user aids, and support training initiatives.
- Ensure HR systems are compliant with applicable laws, regulations, and data governance standards.
- Support audits, handle data security, and manage access controls to maintain data integrity.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in HRIS, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an UKG Pro Suite system administrator along with 5+ years of relevant HRIS administration experience.
- Strong expertise with a variety of UKG modules, including Core HR, WFM, Cognos, Recruiting, and Benefits.
- Proficiency with SFTP and API integrations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros and formulas.
- Basic coding experience with VBA, batch scripting, or similar.
- Foundational SQL knowledge for data validation and reporting.
- HTML experience for reporting and system content.
- Solid understanding of HR laws, regulations, and compliance practices.
- Ability to manage complex, deadline-driven payroll environments.
Highly Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting timekeeping and scheduling in hourly or manufacturing settings.
- Familiarity with integrations to payroll, benefits carriers, and financial systems.
- Experience supporting major system implementations or upgrades.
- Strong documentation and process-mapping skills.
