Job description

SMX is seeking a Senior Information Security Analyst to serve as the Security Operations Center (SOC) Team Lead responsible for managing a team of cybersecurity professionals providing continuous monitoring, incident response, RMF support, vulnerability management, and cyber defense operations for classified enterprise environments., * Lead a team of cybersecurity analysts supporting 24x7 SOC operations.

  • Coordinate cyber incident response.
  • Oversee continuous monitoring activities.
  • Review security alerts and incident investigations.
  • Manage vulnerability remediation.
  • Lead ATO package development and maintenance.
  • Coordinate change management.
  • Ensure compliance with RMF requirements.
  • Produce operational metrics and reports.
  • Mentor cybersecurity personnel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years cybersecurity experience.
  • 3+ years leading SOC teams.
  • Experience with SIEM platforms.
  • Experience supporting RMF.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security solutions.
  • CISSP preferred or equivalent IAT III certification.
  • Active TS/SCI with CI Poly.
