Job description
- Engineers high performance custom logic using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and REST/SOAP Apis to bridge Salesforce with legacy IRS systems in a FedRAMP-compliant environment
- Identifying, defining, and documenting problems or situations that require attention or improvement
- Locating, collecting and organizing information that enhances the understanding of a problem or situation and that facilitates effective communication of it to others
- Study, examine and interpret problem or complex situations by separating into discrete components. Simplify and better understand how the components fit together and why they are arranged in particular ways
- Analyze, Design and champion software solutions thru configuring existing systems and possibly writing some basic code
- Construct, configure, and maintain complex Salesforce objects and processes
- Create and or update documentation
- Adhere to appropriate system development standards and process methodology
- Develop functional, integration, regression and stress test plans
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Remote work
- Travel expectations - none - perhaps a couple of times each year to home office once the Pandemic is behind us
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Salesforce development experience; Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PDl) required, PD2 highly advantageous
- Proficiency in full-lifecycle DevOps (SFDX, Git, CI/CD pipelines), modern JavaScript (ES6+), and Agile/Scrum delivery within a government security context.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or similar technical degree
- Exposure to or knowledge of technical solution design principals and software development methods
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions/plans
- Proficient in SQL query language and relational databases
- Experience with system integration and ETL processes; Visual Importer experience a plus
- Understanding of and ability to maintain Apex versioning
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- LWC and Aura component experience - 3+ years
