Requirements

Surfside Web is looking to add an experienced local in-house AI Software Engineer or Developer to our team. Applicants should have an understanding of the following and be willing to learn more, and be very self motivated being punctual with project deadlines. The ideal applicant works well under pressure and shows great attention to detail. This IS NOT a remote position; this is an in office position at our Myrtle Beach branch. This IS NOT an intern position. Salary depends on experience and ability.

Goals and Expectations

Developing interactive UI/UX using Symfony 5/6, PHP 8, CSS3, and Javascript libraries with a focus on making them usable and highly engaging to their audience.

Helping to design new interfaces for features and modules for our internal APIs and portals.

Performing SEO setups, page redirects and optimizations. Learn from staff as you go.

Designing simple, responsive, intuitive, and engaging user interfaces. This will include WordPress/Elementor sites, apps, and custom solutions., A good work ethic willing to move ones own career forward and learn new things. An undergraduate or associates in ui/ux design, web programming, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 4 years of on-the-job experience in a programming environment.

A working knowledge and proven experience using PHP, CSS3, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, as well as testing, debugging and quality control. Experience in PHP and modern PHP frameworks, preferably Symfony 5 or 6, Laravel and WordPress. Experience with modern JS frameworks and libraries such as AngularJS, Redux, React Native and Ionic. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to calmly address a problem and find a good solution. Understanding of typography and its application in web design. Experienced with Git and versioning is a must as we work on many projects. Self-motivated with the ability to juggle multiple projects. Able to work individually and as part of a team.
