We need an experienced Senior API Gateway Engineer at the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). This position supports the IRS Enterprise API Gateway Modernization and Operations (EAGMO) effort, migrating the agency’s gateway platform from legacy IBM webMethods to a new Government selected product. In this role, you will serve as lead technical resource for configuration, troubleshooting, and engineering support of the Enterprise API Gateway across test, pre-production, and production environments. You will design routes, policies, plugins, certificates, and control/data plane configurations within approved boundaries, lead product specific input on the new platform, provide technical leadership through migration wave execution and rollback readiness, support platform currency activities, and produce configuration baselines and runbooks. This is a full time opportunity. We can offer a competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package. Appy today!, * Serves as the lead technical resource for day-to-day configuration, troubleshooting, and engineering support of the Enterprise API Gateway (currently IBM webMethods) across test, pre-production, and production environments.
