Job description

  • Design, build, operate, and continuously improve Azure data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric
  • Ensure data quality, completeness, and reproducibility
  • Implement incremental data loading processes to improve efficiency
  • Develop robust monitoring, logging, and error-handling systems
  • Set up and maintain test, staging, and production environments
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Data & Analytics and Data Analysts to provide data for Power BI dashboards and machine learning models
  • Contribute to building a scalable data architecture (e.g. CI/CD, dbt, Airflow, Fabric Pipelines)
  • Document, optimize, and cost-optimize data workflows
  • Build and maintain API-based data integrations, You design, build, and operate modern data pipelines in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric, ensuring high data quality, efficiency, and scalability. Your work enables reliable analytics, reporting, and machine learning across the organization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and operating data pipelines or data platforms
  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory / Synapse
  • Solid hands-on experience with SQL and Python (ETL/ELT, automation)
  • Experience with incremental loading and delta processing
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers) and data quality management
  • Experience integrating data for Power BI and working with semantic layers
  • Proven skills in monitoring, logging, and performance optimization
  • Structured, self-driven working style with strong team orientation
  • professional proficiency in English
  • German language skills are a plus, * Experience in e-commerce or the Amazon ecosystem
  • Knowledge of API-based data extraction, Openbridge, and CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
  • Interest in machine learning integration
  • Passion for building data-driven organizations
