Computer Systems Analyst

Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of existing computer systems and business processes. Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and process optimisation to support business goals. Collaborate with management and staff to understand user requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design, test, and implement new systems and software solutions. Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure the smooth adoption of new technologies. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all systems, including user guides and standard operating procedures. Manage data integrity and oversee the maintenance of company databases and information systems. Troubleshoot system errors and performance issues, working with vendors where necessary to resolve them.

Proven experience working as a Systems Analyst, IT Analyst, or in a similar role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent understanding of business process analysis and improvement methodologies. Proficient in managing and configuring business applications such as CRM, project management, or ERP systems. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote environment. A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not essential. Experience supporting a small to medium-sized business in the service or construction industry would be an advantage.

The salary for this position is between $45.00 and $55.00 USD per hour, commensurate with experience.
