Job description

Provide production support for enterprise .NET applications by monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high application availability.
Investigate, analyze, and resolve production incidents while performing detailed root cause analysis and implementing preventive solutions.
Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using .NET / .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework.
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support application functionality and performance.
Develop and support RESTful APIs / Web APIs for seamless integration with internal and external systems.
Monitor applications using Azure Application Insights and other logging/monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Perform application debugging, log analysis, and performance tuning to improve system stability and reliability.
Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve production issues and deliver timely solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field with an overall of 12+ years of IT experience.
Strong hands-on experience in .NET Framework / .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET MVC application development and production support.
Solid experience working with Entity Framework for data access and ORM-based application development.
Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, query optimization, and basic performance tuning.
Hands-on experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs / ASP.NET Web APIs.
Experience with frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and software development best practices.
Experience using Git for source code version control and collaborative development.
Basic exposure to Microsoft Azure, including Application Insights, monitoring dashboards, and cloud application support.
Hands-on experience in production support activities including application monitoring, incident management, debugging, log analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA).
Familiarity with application logging frameworks, monitoring tools, and troubleshooting techniques.
Experience working with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
