Telecommunications/Network Infrastructure Engineer

Information Systems Solutions (ISS) is seeking a Telecommunications/Network Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in physical network infrastructure and enterprise networking across Layers 1-4.

Certifications (IAT Level II), * 8+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.

• Deep understanding of structured cabling standards (TIA/EIA) and fiber/copper infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing VLAN and Layer 3 routing solutions.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot across physical and logical network layers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco CCNP or higher (or equivalent enterprise certification)
• Experience supporting classified enclaves.
• Cisco CCNP or higher (or equivalent enterprise certification).
• Experience with fiber backbone design and data center buildouts.
• Familiarity with network monitoring and infrastructure documentation platforms.
