Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 14+ Years of relevant experience
Must have a 12+ years in enterprise application/platform architecture
You should have a 6+ years in mainframe modernization or legacy transformation
Proven experience leading enterprise-scale mainframe-to-cloud migration programs and GCP architecture and services
Cloud migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-factor)
Event-driven and hybrid architectures Security, IAM, compliance, and governance and DevOps, CI/CD, and automation
Deep expertise in mainframe systems, GCP, cloud migration, and automation, capable of leading end-to-end modernization programs-from strategy and design to production deployment and stabilization-while effectively managing senior stakeholders.
Senior technical and strategic role responsible for leading large-scale mainframe modernization and cloud migration initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Requires deep expertise in both legacy mainframe technologies and modern cloud architectures.
Lead enterprise-scale mainframe modernization and migration programs to GCP Advise executive stakeholders (VPs, steering committees) on cloud transformation strategies and roadmaps
Assess and modernize legacy systems built on: COBOL, PL/I , CICS, IMS DB2, VSAM JCL, batch workloads
Design migration strategies: Re-host (Lift & Shift) Re-platform and Re-factor
Architect GCP Dual Run solutions for parallel testing, validation, and risk-free cutovers
Design event-driven integrations using: Pub/Sub, APIs, BigQuery, Cloud Storage and GKE
Develop end-to-end GCP architecture including: Change Data Capture (CDC)
Drive automation, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agentic AI adoption
Support production cutovers, troubleshooting, and post-migration stabilization
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
