Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum 14+ Years of relevant experience
- Must have a 12+ years in enterprise application/platform architecture
- You should have a 6+ years in mainframe modernization or legacy transformation
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale mainframe-to-cloud migration programs and GCP architecture and services
- Cloud migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-factor)
- Event-driven and hybrid architectures Security, IAM, compliance, and governance and DevOps, CI/CD, and automation
- Deep expertise in mainframe systems, GCP, cloud migration, and automation, capable of leading end-to-end modernization programs-from strategy and design to production deployment and stabilization-while effectively managing senior stakeholders.
- Senior technical and strategic role responsible for leading large-scale mainframe modernization and cloud migration initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Requires deep expertise in both legacy mainframe technologies and modern cloud architectures.
- Lead enterprise-scale mainframe modernization and migration programs to GCP Advise executive stakeholders (VPs, steering committees) on cloud transformation strategies and roadmaps
- Assess and modernize legacy systems built on: COBOL, PL/I , CICS, IMS DB2, VSAM JCL, batch workloads
- Design migration strategies: Re-host (Lift & Shift) Re-platform and Re-factor
- Architect GCP Dual Run solutions for parallel testing, validation, and risk-free cutovers
- Design event-driven integrations using: Pub/Sub, APIs, BigQuery, Cloud Storage and GKE
- Develop end-to-end GCP architecture including: Change Data Capture (CDC)
- Drive automation, DevOps, CI/CD, and Agentic AI adoption
- Support production cutovers, troubleshooting, and post-migration stabilization
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
