Information Technology Consulting Operational Data Store Data Analytics

Job description

We are looking for a Lead Digital Transformation Consultant who can take ownership of complex transformation programmes from initial assessment through to implementation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams, technology specialists, and operational leaders to identify opportunities, define transformation roadmaps, and ensure that new solutions deliver lasting business value.

This is not a purely advisory position. You will be expected to understand how organisations operate, challenge inefficient processes, translate strategic goals into deliverable initiatives, and support clients throughout the change journey.

Why Work With Us?

The Environment: Our London office provides a professional and collaborative setting where consultants, analysts, and technology specialists work together on meaningful client challenges.

Visible Impact: Your recommendations will influence business processes, technology investments, customer journeys, and operational priorities across a range of client organisations.

Varied Projects: You will work across digital strategy, operating model improvement, process optimisation, technology implementation, and organisational change.

Professional Growth: We support continued learning through relevant certifications, industry events, leadership development, and exposure to complex transformation programmes.

Meaningful Responsibility: You will have the authority to shape project direction, advise senior stakeholders, and mentor less experienced consultants while remaining actively involved in delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Transformation Strategy: Assess existing business operations, identify improvement opportunities, and develop clear digital transformation strategies aligned with client objectives.

Programme Leadership: Lead transformation workstreams from discovery and planning through implementation, adoption, and benefits measurement.

Process Improvement: Analyse current processes, remove inefficiencies, and design improved workflows supported by suitable digital tools and technologies.

Technology Assessment: Work with technical teams to evaluate platforms, systems, automation opportunities, and integration requirements.

Stakeholder Management: Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, facilitate workshops, manage expectations, and communicate complex recommendations clearly.

Business Case Development: Prepare investment cases, transformation roadmaps, cost benefit assessments, risk evaluations, and implementation plans.

Change and Adoption: Support clients in preparing employees for new systems, processes, and ways of working through structured change management activities.

Team Leadership: Guide consultants and business analysts, review project outputs, provide constructive feedback, and maintain high delivery standards.

Performance Measurement: Define success measures and track whether transformation initiatives achieve the expected operational, financial, and customer outcomes.

Requirements

Experience: At least 6 years of experience in digital transformation, management consulting, business change, technology consulting, or operational improvement.

Leadership Background: Demonstrated experience leading major workstreams, transformation projects, or multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Commercial Understanding: Strong knowledge of business operations, project economics, client management, and the commercial factors that influence transformation decisions.

Analytical Ability: Confidence in assessing complex business problems, interpreting operational data, and converting findings into practical recommendations.

Technology Awareness: Good understanding of enterprise systems, cloud platforms, automation, data analytics, customer platforms, and modern digital operating models.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations to senior stakeholders and lead structured workshops.

Qualifications: A degree in Business, Technology, Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in project management, agile delivery, business analysis, or change management would be advantageous.

Mindset: You are commercially aware, pragmatic, and delivery focused. You know how to balance long term transformation goals with the immediate operational needs of the client.
