Job description

As a dedicated Data Administrator, you will be an integral part of achieving this, while always striving to keep our customers’ power flowing. You will be responsible for assisting the coordination of all record updates associated with Capex and Opex work at all voltages including data adopted from ICPs and IDNOs. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all asset updates are uploaded to a Work Management System and are of a satisfactory quality to meet our regulatory and statutory requirements prior to the updating of our corporate asset management systems., The successful candidate will:
- Ensure the coordination of all asset data site records associated with the creation, removal and updating of Northern Powergrids assets in the corporate asset management systems
- Ensure all new asset changes associated with the Operations business unit including their service provides are received from site
- Audit and quantify the data received from site
- Manage and log the data using Microsoft and business specific applications and systems
- Liaise directly with Northern Powergrid project managers and service providers to obtain information and address quality assurance concerns and assist with any training requirements
- Ensure our off-shore partner Cyient receives good quality data in a timely manner
- Support and advise our partner Cyient on data management matters
Requirements
- Interpreting Information - comfortable working with multiple datasets and IT systems.
- Time Management - manage own workload efficiently whilst always looking for ways to improve
- Team working - ability to work solo and part of a cross functional team
- Confident dealing with customer ‘no supply’ calls during periods of Tier 2 call overflow
- Accuracy - strong data entry skills, * Minimum qualification of 5 GCSEs A-C OR NVQ L2A
- Computer literate in Microsoft applications
- Good Communication skills
- Good time management skillsGood at problem solving and decision making
- Ability to work solo or as part of a team, * GIS Qualification
- Knowledge of Northern Powergrid’s existing asset management systems
- Knowledge of how the electricity network operates
- Quality assurance
- Working in an office environment
