Clinical Systems Analyst

We are looking for a Clinical Systems Analyst who can support the implementation, improvement and day to day performance of our clinical technology platforms. You will work closely with healthcare professionals, technical teams and business stakeholders to translate operational needs into practical system solutions.

This is a mid level position suited to someone who understands clinical workflows and can confidently analyse system issues, document requirements and support technology improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Systems Analysis

Review existing clinical systems and workflows to identify operational issues, system limitations and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements Gathering

Work with clinical staff, operational teams and business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear functional requirements.

System Implementation

Support the configuration, testing and rollout of new clinical systems, software updates and process improvements.

Issue Investigation

Analyse system incidents, data concerns and user reported problems. Coordinate with technical teams to identify root causes and implement suitable solutions.

Testing and Quality Assurance

Prepare test scenarios, complete system testing and document results before new features or updates are released to users.

Process Documentation

Create and maintain system guides, process maps, requirements documents, training materials and standard operating procedures.

User Support and Training

Provide practical support and guidance to system users. Deliver demonstrations and training sessions when new processes or features are introduced.

Data and Reporting

Review clinical and operational data to identify trends, monitor system performance and support informed decision making.

Stakeholder Communication

Provide clear updates to clinical teams, project managers and technical colleagues regarding system changes, risks, issues and project progress.

At least 3 years of experience in clinical systems, healthcare technology, business analysis, application support or a similar systems focused role.

Healthcare Knowledge

A practical understanding of clinical workflows, patient information systems, healthcare operations or regulated service environments.

Analytical Skills

Strong problem solving skills with the ability to investigate system issues, understand user requirements and recommend practical solutions.

Technical Knowledge

Experience with clinical applications, databases, reporting tools, system testing or software implementation would be beneficial.

Documentation

Strong ability to create clear requirements, process documentation, system guides and testing records.

Communication Skills

Confident working with clinical professionals, technical teams and non technical stakeholders.

Data Protection

A good understanding of patient confidentiality, information governance and UK data protection requirements.

Education

A degree or relevant qualification in health informatics, information technology, business analysis, healthcare management or a related subject is preferred.

Pay: £2,411.00-£3,000.00 per month
