Job description

  • Design & Build: Create and manage scalable AWS infrastructure following best practices for performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Automate & Streamline: Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation) and develop CI/CD pipelines for seamless delivery.
  • Collaborate & Support: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate DevOps solutions into project workflows and troubleshoot AWS environments.
  • Secure & Comply: Apply security best practices, conduct audits, and maintain compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor & Optimize: Develop monitoring and alerting solutions to enhance availability and proactively optimize cloud environments.
  • Innovate & Improve: Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

  • You should have proven experience delivering AWS-based DevOps solutions, combining strong technical knowledge with a collaborative and analytical mindset.
  • You’ll bring the confidence to work independently while supporting and guiding others on more complex challenges., * Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM).
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Code Pipeline).
  • Scripting proficiency (Python, Bash, or similar) and experience with Git.
  • Experience with containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
  • Understanding of cloud security and compliance practices.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Desirable:

  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
  • Experience working in Agile and consulting environments.

Educational Criteria :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Maths, IT, statistics or physics related field.
  • You should be entitled to work in the UK with legal work authorization status.
  • Must be willing to travel within the UK as per project/client requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork skills.
