Job description

The SAP Principal Consultant, Order to Cash (OTC), is a highly experienced and strategic position which will lead the design, delivery, and governance solutions across global operations. This role is key for shaping solution design, driving S/4HANA transformation in the future, and ensuring scalable, integrated solutions aligned to business objectives. The role acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, SAP teams, and IT leadership to ensure SAP solutions effectively support organizational objectives.

The position is responsible for collaborating with multiple SAP support, development, integration, and project teams while driving continuous improvement, modernization initiatives, and enterprise-wide SAP best practices. As part of a global SAP footprint, you will collaborate as needed to ensure our technology meets the needs of the business. The SAP Principal Consultant will work in close collaboration with various stakeholders from across the organization including UK, Germany, France, US, and Hungary.

What you’ll be doing

  • Work closely with SAP specialists across Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Logistics, Service Solutions, and related IT/IS services.
  • Pioneering our global solutions across ECC and S/4HANA to ensure they are in line with the overall SAP Solutions Strategy but also meeting the needs of a growing global organization.
  • Define SAP solution architecture and integration standards.
  • Oversee integration between SAP and enterprise applications.
  • Support API, middleware, and data governance initiatives.
  • Review technical designs and provide architectural guidance.
  • Coordinate vendor and consulting resources when necessary.
  • Track project progress and communicate status to leadership.
  • Build and maintain an effective relationship with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure stability in the operational service
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design integration solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Ensure functional documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and high quality.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other SAP specialists within the team, sharing best practice and fostering skill development.
  • Design cross-functional integrations across SAP modules and external systems.
  • Partner with business leaders to deliver services that support company objectives and that are consistent with Winning Together values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of SAP OTC experience
  • 5+ years of experience with SAP projects or major initiatives.
  • Strong experience in global enterprise environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Good knowledge and experience of SAP, MS Office and MS Teams
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking and tactical execution skills
  • Advanced experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA
  • Fiori, IDocs, APIs, BAPIs
  • Integration with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow
  • Good knowledge of the IT industry and an understanding of IT technologies and products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable communicating with colleagues in different countries where English is not the first spoken language
  • Good self-organization and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple requests simultaneously
  • Can build trust, be assertive when required and shows initiative and enthusiasm
  • Resilience, and able to deal with stressful situations
  • Business and financial acumen with strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrate an understanding of product supply chains
  • Commercially astute
