Job description
A well-established, design-led architecture studio in San Francisco is seeking a Project Manager to join its highly regarded team.
Requirements
This is an opportunity to join a close-knit, approximately 15-person practice with an outstanding reputation for delivering thoughtful, high-quality work across commercial, hospitality, residential, and healthcare sectors. The studio is known for being exceptionally organised, collaborative, and client-focused, with a strong emphasis on professionalism, communication, and long-term relationships. The ideal candidate will be someone who thrives in a client-facing environment and is confident leading projects with empathy, clarity, and composure. Strong interpersonal skills are essential - this role requires someone who can build trust quickly, manage expectations smoothly, and navigate complex conversations with confidence and tact. Candidates should have solid project management and technical delivery experience, alongside excellent verbal and written communication skills. The firm would also value someone with a strong design sensibility, although this is not essential. This role would suit an architect or project manager who enjoys being deeply involved with clients, consultants, and teams, and who wants to be part of a supportive, well-run studio where quality and culture genuinely matter. Key requirements:
- Strong project management and coordination experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Calm, polished, and professional client manner
- Ability to lead projects and manage multiple stakeholders
- Architectural background with strong technical understanding
- Design strength or interest considered a plus
- Revit proficiency preferred
