You will own GPU cloud deployments end to end, from data center selection to sovereign cloud rollouts and edge site buildouts, across a growing multi-site global fleet. You will manage the technical scaling of Vertical Edge and Vertical Data’s GPU cloud offerings, with direct capex and vendor authority over infrastructure investment.

- Own the technical scaling roadmap and capex planning. Capacity planning, network architecture, power and cooling requirements.
- Manage relationships with data center operators, colocation providers, and hardware vendors.
- Oversee sovereign cloud builds. Ensure compliance with local data residency and regulatory requirements.
- Drive Vertical Edge expansion. Site selection, deployment timelines, and operational readiness.
- Manage uptime, utilization, and performance across the GPU fleet.
- Coordinate with the capital markets and lending teams on hardware specs, deployment timelines, and collateral valuation.
- Build, lead, and scale the infrastructure engineering team as deployment volume grows.
Requirements
- 8+ years in cloud infrastructure, data center operations, or GPU cluster deployment.
- Hands-on experience deploying and scaling GPU clusters on NVIDIA H100, H200, or GB200-class hardware.
- Experience with sovereign cloud or regulated, data-residency-sensitive deployments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, or equivalent compliance frameworks).
- Strong understanding of data center power, cooling, and networking requirements at scale.
- Direct communication. No filler.
- Experience managing vendor and colocation relationships.
- Based in the US or Canada. Travel required for site visits and deployments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with edge data center deployments.
- Background in neocloud or hyperscaler infrastructure operations, or exposure to regulated or government cloud programs (e.g., FedRAMP, ITAR).
