Job description

· Provide day-to-day IT support across the firm, including hardware and software troubleshooting

· Set up new users and configure system/network permissions

· Onboard new employees with laptops, email, and required software access

· Support Microsoft 365, Outlook, and the broader MS Office suite

· Support Adobe applications

· Set up and maintain hardware on-site, including laptops, networking equipment, routers, and servers

Requirements

· Previous IT experience within a law firm environment is required

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments

· Hands-on experience with hardware setup and basic networking (routers, servers)

· Experience supporting Outlook, MS Office, and Adobe applications

· Ability to work independently and manage support requests across a full firm

· Experience with Filevine, Ajax time and billing software, and/or Legalmation preferred

About the company

Our client, a corporate defense law firm with approximately 50 users, is seeking a part-time IT Specialist to support the firm’s hardware and software needs. This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence in the firm’s downtown LA office at least once per week, with remaining hours performed remotely.
