Senior Systems Engineer (CAP/SAP)

Kavaliro is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support requirements engineering, solutions engineering, reliability, resiliency, R&D, integration, T&E, and analysis across CAP/SAP architectures in the NSG and DoD/IC, ensuring timely and accurate GEOINT. Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), Configuration Management Plans (CMP), and acquisition documentation.
• Implement repeatable processes for transitioning technologies into PMO infrastructure.
• Participate in requirements development and baseline documentation.
• Evaluate industry solutions to identify innovative technologies for prototyping and transition.
• Provide requirements for RFCs, ICDs, and multi-agency coordination meetings. Support transitioning R&D capabilities into operations.

• Bachelor’s in Engineering and 12+ years of experience, or 12+ years of related technical/scientific experience in lieu of degree.
• Demonstrated experience with IPS, SOSI, Radar/Optical sensors, C2, BMC3, orbital analysis, and OSC/DSC.
• Experience working with data at multiple classification levels and applying security controls from SECRET to TS/CAP/SAP.
• Demonstrated experience in space-to-ground threats, track deconfliction, and SSA.
• Experience supporting CAP/SAP mission partner architectures.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication and ability to pass CI Poly.

Desired Qualifications:

• Familiarity with ANSI/EIA 632, IEEE 1220, IEEE 24765, ISO/IEC/IEEE 12207, ISO/IEC 15288 standards.
• Experience with MBSE tools, space object measurement, physics models (forces, uncertainty, space weather, break-ups, conjunction analysis).
• Understanding of space enterprise information needs including space object observations, historical behavior, and contextual analysis., * Candidates must have an active TS/SCI and CI Polygraph
• Applicant MUST hold a permanent U.S. citizenship for this position in accordance with government contract requirements.
