Requirements

7+ years of hands on backend development experience using Core Java (Java 8 or above)
Strong experience with Spring Framework, specifically:
Spring Batch and
Spring Boot
Proven experience working with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
Solid understanding of SQL, data modelling, and batch oriented data processing
Experience building and supporting RESTful services
Strong grasp of object oriented design principles, multithreading, and performance optimization
Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery models
Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and remediate issues affecting production applications.
Provide clear, concise, and timely communication to affected parties during the investigation and resolution of any individual or system-wide outage.
Exceptional interpersonal skills, including team interaction and communication skills including ability to work in cross functional teams
Experience with messaging and streaming platforms:
Apache Kafka
RabbitMQ
Other MQ / event driven systems
Experience with file based integration patterns, including:
SFTP
Secure file sharing services
Familiarity with job scheduling tools (e.g., Control M or equivalent)
Understanding cloud-native enterprise applications deployed in PCF, AWS, GCP or Azure.
Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools - GitHub/Git Actions.
Prior experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, or Asset Management domains Preferred
